Candle Questions
What ingredients are in your candles?
All Flaming Aroma candles and wax melts are made with a 100% natural soy wax blend, cotton wicks, and glass jars. I use only the cleanest fragrance oils I can source, and all scents are vegan, eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and non-toxic. You won’t find lead, plastics, parabens, synthetic dyes, or phthalates in any of my candles.
What is a phthalate?
Phthalates are chemicals once commonly used in plastics and fragrance oils. While they help boost scent throw, research has linked them to health concerns. Even though risks are often minimal in candles, I’ve chosen to keep my candles completely phthalate-free to make them as safe and clean as possible.
What is soy wax?
Soy wax is a natural, renewable wax made from soybeans. It burns cleaner and slower than paraffin (which is petroleum-based), making it better for you and the environment. I choose soy because it creates a longer-lasting candle without releasing toxins.
How long do Flaming Aroma candles last?
9oz candles: ~45+ hours
Large candles: 50–60+ hours

When should I stop burning my candle?
When there’s about ½ inch of wax left in the jar, it’s time for your last burn. This helps prevent overheating the glass and keeps things safe. After that, you can recycle or repurpose your jar.
What is candle tunneling? How do I avoid it?
Tunneling happens when only the center wax melts, leaving a ring of hard wax around the edges. To avoid it:
Burn your candle until the wax melts evenly across the top (the first burn is the most important!)
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before lighting
Avoid cutting the wick too short or blowing out too soon
Can I fix a tunneled candle?
Yes! Wrap aluminum foil around the top edges of the jar, leaving space in the middle for the flame. Burn the candle for a while, and the foil will help the wax melt evenly again.

What are your mugs made of?
All mugs are made with durable white ceramic that’s designed to last and make your prints pop beautifully.
What sizes are available?
We currently offer two sizes:
11oz (0.33 l) – perfect for your daily coffee or tea.
15oz (0.44 l) – for when you need that extra boost!
Do the mugs have a comfortable handle?
Yes! Each mug comes with a C-handle that feels just right in your hand, making it easy and comfortable to hold.
What’s the finish like?
All mugs have a shiny finish, giving them a polished look that makes your design stand out.
Are the mugs safe to drink from?
Absolutely! Every mug is lead-free and BPA-free, so you can sip your favorite drinks with confidence every day.
Are they dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes! These ceramic mugs are safe for both the dishwasher and the microwave, making them super easy to use and clean.
Can I gift these mugs?
Definitely—they make a perfect gift for coffee and tea lovers. You can even pair them with one of our candles for the coziest combo!

What is your return policy?
I don’t currently accept returns or exchanges. But if your candle arrives damaged or there’s an issue, email me at contact.Flamingaromacandleco@gmail.com and I’ll make it right.
My favorite candle is out of stock! What do I do?
Since I make everything in small batches, some scents rotate seasonally. If I still have the fragrance oils in stock, I’ll be happy to pour a custom batch for you—just reach out via email or Instagram DM!
How long does shipping take?
Processing time: 2–5 business days
Shipping: 3–7 business days (depending on distance and carrier)
Custom/pre-orders may take longer. Tracking is always included with your order.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes! Priority Mail Express is available, but please note processing times still apply. If you need something rushed, leave a note with your order or email me—I’ll always do my best to prioritize it.
Can I send a candle as a gift?
Of course! Just leave a note at checkout with your message, and I’ll include it in the package. All candles are wrapped with care, sealed with kraft paper and wax seals. If you’re ordering multiple scents, I can add discreet stickers so you don’t have to unwrap them before gifting.
